Kade's First Swimming Lesson

Kade started swimming lessons yesterday. He had a great time, however from the neck up stayed dry. =) I call him a big chicken, but I am to blame.... we just don't get up to the pool as often as we should for him to get used to it. So it's my bad. I'm hopeful that after 5 solid days he might actually enjoying going under the water. Karlie enjoyed watching him, but really wanted in the pool.

**For those of you that check this blog as often as my photography blog, please do not judge my photography on here. Sometimes I like to take pictures without caring and I also like to post pictures without all the hastle. =) There's your bit of honesty from me for the day!!!

This morning we made a trip down to Wauneta to see a very special G.G. (Grandma Great). She is a wonderful lady that I thank God daily for healing. She has been through an incredibly challenging year fighting *and winning* against uterine cancer. (*plus a gall bladder removal surgery to boot!) She has had an upbeat, positive attitude the entire time. The best part about it is I think she is almost back to 100%! Grandma and I have a special bond and we can talk about everything. Gil and Phyl have been very special people in my life and I can honestly say they are hero's to me. I miss my Grandpa every day, but I know he's playing golf and getting hole in one's every day and watching down on our crazy family and giggling his sweet laugh. We enjoy our weekly trips down to G.G.'s house and are so blessed to live so close. We were hoping to get more pictures of the kids with her, but miss Karlie's appetite won and we headed to Tommy's earlier than planned. =) WE LOVE YOU G.G.!!

Miss Piggy

Our little girl eats like a 'lil piggy... I wish this was as cute on me...

I took this kids out to Kenny and Janice's to see their puppies. Aren't they adorable? They are pure bred Corgie's. I sure hope I spelled that right. Both the kids really liked them. Kade named them - Puppy, Charlie, Hoppy and Kitty. The first and second pictures are Karlie giving them kisses.
